Our History

In 1963, five young men from Northern California—Larry Alexander, Tony Tecumesh, Gene Resler, Ron George, and Roger Swanson—came together to form Afterglow . In 1968 they recorded a nationally released album that they believed had quietly faded into obscurity. For over thirty years, they assumed their music had been forgotten—until they discovered it had gained a passionate global following. Moved by the unexpected resurgence, they reunited to write and record a second album, ultimately founding AfterGlow Studios as a space to continue creating, sharing, and supporting the next generation of artists.
